Mixed Daffodils

For the best daffodil performance and reliable spring blooms, follow these three essential growing tips:

1. Plant in full sun
   Choose a location that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily, even after trees leaf out. Daffodils need plenty of sunlight after blooming to store energy for next year’s flowers.
2. Provide well-drained soil
   Daffodil bulbs thrive in soil with good drainage. Avoid planting in areas where water stands after heavy rain, as overly wet soil can cause bulbs to rot.
3. Allow foliage to mature naturally
   After flowering, wait at least 8 weeks — or until the leaves turn yellow — before cutting back foliage. Never braid or tie daffodil leaves, as healthy foliage is essential for producing strong blooms the following spring.
